ROSACEA AND COUPEROSE
Over the past 10 years, the growth of these diseases in young girls has increased, the number of people with hormonal disorders has increased, these are environmental problems, improper care, often too aggressive care.
Rosacea and rosacea on the face are two diseases that many still do not distinguish between. These skin diseases are associated with vascular pathology, have common symptoms and manifestations, which causes confusion. What is the difference between couperosis and rosacea, you should know in order to permanently get rid of vascular pathologies of the skin.
ROSACEA AND COUPEROSIS ARE DIFFERENT DISEASES WITH MANY SIMILAR SIGNS. IF CUPEROSIS IS ASSOCIATED WITH PATHOLOGICAL CHANGES IN VESSELS, THEN ROSACEA IS A DISEASE WHICH IS ACCOMPANIED WITH SPECIFIC SEALS.
WHAT IS COUPEROSIS AND ROSACEA?
Rosacea and rosacea are types of vascular pathologies that are characterized by the appearance of dilated vessels. As a result, the skin acquires a reddish tint.
Rosacea is a chronic skin lesion that occurs with rashes and redness. That is why the pathology has received a name that speaks for itself – pink acne.
Today, there is no exact explanation for why rosacea occurs. The disease can be provoked by diets, imbalance of hormones, predisposition. Contribute to the occurrence of rosacea alcohol consumption, stress, hypothermia, allergies – any factors that provoke vasodilation.
What not to eat with rosacea?
Rosacea and rosacea on the face are diseases that need to be treated comprehensively. First of all, it concerns food. To get rid of rosacea, you need to exclude dangerous and harmful foods from the diet:
- Sweet and floury. They contain sugars that cause inflammation
- Dairy. Progesterone, which is rich in dairy products, enhances the function of the sebaceous glands – there are more purulent inflammations on the skin.
- Alcohol. It has been scientifically proven that alcoholic beverages do not cause rosacea on their own, but aggravate the course of the disease. Alcohol dilates blood vessels and causes additional blush on the face.
- Products containing caffeine (tea and coffee). Stimulate the production of the hormone cortisol, which triggers stress. Stressful situations often lead to the appearance of inflammation on the skin.
- Canned, pickled, salted, fried and spicy foods. They lead to the appearance of acne on the skin, dilate blood vessels, weaken the immune system.
- Citrus and sweet fruits. Cause skin inflammation.
Can rosacea be permanently cured?
Regardless of whether telangiectasia, couperosis or rosacea, treatment should be comprehensive. The peculiarity of rosacea is that despite external signs, the causes are hidden deep in the body. And to get rid of rosacea forever, you need to identify and eliminate the cause of the disease.
Treatment of rosacea and rosacea is carried out in several directions. As a rule, an endocrinologist and a dermatologist develop a comprehensive treatment plan that aims to quickly eliminate the external manifestations of the disease and deeply treat the causes of rosacea.
TREATMENT OF ROSACEA AND COUPEROSIS CONSISTS OF THE FOLLOWING STAGES:
- Proper skin care. Careful hygiene, selection of cosmetics, daily use of cream with SPF protection. Acid peels, products containing alcohol, rough scrubs are contraindicated in rosacea.
- Therapeutic treatment. Based on the use of antibacterial and antiseptic agents that eliminate the causes and consequences of acne.
- Medical treatment. Depending on the indications, the patient may be prescribed medications, hormonal drugs, etc.
- Hardware treatment. Elimination of spider veins by hardware methods.
Can rosacea and rosacea be treated with a laser?
You can eliminate rosacea and rosacea with a laser. Vascular networks are cauterized with laser beams. The method is effective at different stages of the disease – both in the initial and advanced cases.
Laser beams quickly and permanently eliminate redness and spider veins from the skin surface. The number of sessions depends on the stage of rosacea and rosacea.
Laser removal of couperose and rosacea is an effective method for spider veins. The procedure allows you to get a pronounced result, does not require a long recovery period. The effect of the procedure lasts for several years.
IS IT POSSIBLE TO DO A CHEMICAL PEEL FOR ROSACEA?
Couperose or rosacea on the face are diseases that require careful skin care. Aggressive chemical peels can only aggravate the course of the disease. Unprofessional acid peeling provokes persistent redness – the skin heals for a long time after the procedure. An unqualified approach to therapy and an illiterate selection of home remedies will aggravate the course of the disease.

For rosacea and rosacea, only delicate peels are indicated (for example, using mandelic or lactic acid). Antioxidant monopeels are prescribed for the erythematous form of rosacea. Superficial almond peeling does not cause peeling and burning. In the pustular form, combinations of azelaic and lactic acid can be used. They depress the production of reactive oxygen species, regulate the formation of secretion of the skin glands. The doctor selects the acid composition for peeling individually, depending on the nature and course of the disease.
Treatment for couperose and rosacea includes:
- Diet. Foods that provoke fragility of blood vessels (alcoholic drinks, coffee, sweet, spicy and hot dishes) are excluded from the diet.
- Daily care. With rosacea, sparing care products that do not contain alcohol and aggressive components are used.
- Cleansing. Couperosis is characterized by dehydration of the skin. If you use soap products for washing, they will provoke the destruction of the protective lipid film on the surface of the skin – sensitive skin will lose water. To avoid dehydration, delicate cleansers are used for rosacea. Do not use hot or cold water for washing.
- Hydration and nutrition. The cosmetologist will select products containing vitamins and amino acids that strengthen the walls of blood vessels. To protect your skin from ultraviolet radiation, you should use day creams with SPF protection.
Treatment of couperosis and rosacea is based on the use of cosmetic procedures. They are selected by a doctor regarding the characteristics of the body and the neglect of the disease.
